Impreza WRX STi Type R blows away NSX Type R in Special Stage Route 11 All Night 2!

Car used: Subaru Impreza WRX STi Type R Version (yellow)

Prize car: Nismo GT-R LM Road Car (silver, of course)

Well, I chose to buy a car for the Special Stage Route 11 All Night Endurance Race 2. I had a Viper, but I wanted to use something else, so I bought the best of the Subaru Imprezas: The WRX STi Type R version, in yellow. I tuned it up, added everything I could (except the race mod) then took it to the All Night Endurance Race #2. My main rival was a Honda NSX Type R, and the NSX and the Impreza fought. But it was the Impreza that prevailed, despite no pit stops, while the NSX had one early in the race. Ha! Lets see you beat my Impreza in the Tuned series, NSX!

Result

1: Impreza WRX STi Type R Version

2: NSX Type R ‘92

3: FD Efini RX7 Type RZ

4: Nissan R33 Skyline GTR V-spec

5: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR

6: Toyota Chaser Tourer V

I won 15,000,000 credits, and a Nismo GTR LM Road Car.

See you at the Tuned series, NSX!

Green Silvia LM wins Grand Valley Endurance!!

My ectoplasm green S14 Silvia LM Edition has won the Grand Valley 300km Endurance race, and a black/blue Castrol Supra GT (and without resetting, a black/blue one was what I wanted). The cars that competed with me were a Honda Civic SiR-II, Nissan Skyline GT-R ‘91, a Subaru Impreza Rally Edition, a Castrol Supra GT, and a Mazda Lantis. I’ve forgotten the results as I skipped that bit so I could get my black/blue Supra, but still, a long, long race is now over, thank goodness (I hate really long endurance races!).

Car used: Silvia LM Edition (green)

Prize car: Black Castrol Supra GT (red/blue stripes)

Del Sol LM Edition wins Special Stage Route 11 endurance!!

Car: CRX Del Sol LM Edition (red)

Prize: S14 Silvia LM Edition (green)

A red Del Sol LM Edition has won the All-Night Endurance Race #1 in a truly memorable race, lapping everyone at least once. Ironically, a red NSX-R GT1 Turbo was also in the race. This Del Sol LM pushed so hard that it easily won. Nothing could catch it. Not even a tuned GTO Twin Turbo. I was very surprised that the Impreza Rally Edition came last, even though it does have a top speed of about 260 kmh. Even more surprising was that the lowly Nissan Primera finished ahead of it! Shame the underdog Primera (both 2.0Te models and the Gran Turismo 2-only 2.0Te-V) got bashed in GT2. But if you don’t have the Del Sol LM, you should get it. Especially in red. Sure, some people hated it, but you have to MASTER it. It’s an awesome car, even if handling is a little poor, but you have to learn to MASTER it. Shame it has a myth status, but a way to get it is finish second in two of the races in UK vs Japan.

Result:

1: CR-X del Sol LM Edition (red)

2: Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo (green race mod)

3: Honda NSX-R GT1 Turbo (red)

4: Castrol Supra GT (white/green)

5: Nissan Primera 2.0Te ‘90 (black race mod)

6: Subaru Impreza Rally Edition (blue)

I won 15,000,000 credits, and I intentionally reset until I won the ectoplasm green S14 Silvia LM Edition (I’d never seen it before, plus I’d seen the red one loads of times).

I wish I could get the Del Sol LM in Gran Turismo 2, but IB-4 is a pain in the rear. A rubbish car (Honda NSX Type S Zero) on a rubbish piece of a dirty licence track doesn’t help.

A red Del Sol LM Edition is won for my garage thanks to a green FTO LM!!

My green FTO LM Edition won the red CRX Del Sol LM Edition.

But not after resetting.

I won loads of duplicate black Del Sols and Cerberas (in green, of course).

My FTO was car of the game though.

I intentionally came second in two races so I’d get the Del Sol LM, then I saved before I crossed the line at Special Stage Route 11.

I came second to the TVR Griffith 500 each time.

Car used: FTO LM Edition (green)
Prize car: Del Sol LM Edition (red)

Finally. In the PAL version I never got a red Del Sol, which was a shame, the black one is ugly.

Now if only I could get the Del Sol LM Edition in 2… thanks to the Honda NSX Type S Zero, I can’t get all golds for the Del Sol LM. CURSE YOU HONDA NSX TYPE S ZERO!! IT IS THE WORST CAR EVER!!

Green-striped Viper GTS-R wins the green FTO LM!!

Several Vipers and again duplicate black FTO LM Editions stood in my way, but nothing stopped my green-striped Viper GTS-R getting the green FTO LM Edition. The Subaru Rally Car overtook me because the Viper spins out a lot, but still, it was well worth it for the green FTO LM. I reset several times thanks to the Viper and of course, the duplicate black FTO LM Edition, but now I have both black and green ones. I got very mad at the fact I reset several times, but I was glad to get the green one. Now if only I could get it in GT2… those licenses are a pain in the rear, and gold? Too hard. Only people who have the American version, and cheaters have won the FTO LM Edition in Gran Turismo 2. Boy, I’ve not even come close.. thanks to that stupid Honda NSX Type S Zero, I’ve had to keep trying again. But in GT1, nothing beats my green and black FTO LM Editions, except perhaps the Cerbera LM or the yellow Concept Car…

My Bank Holiday - Plus another review

Me and my dad went to this really cool dome in Milton Keynes to do indoor skydiving, and indoor tobogganing, and much, much, more. We really went for the skydiving which was great, but then we did tobogganing and much more, having a nice meal and going in a simulator (which showed old videos of Alton Towers’ past rides, like the Corkscrew (crap), and it even showed footage of Thunder-looper). Sucks I never went on Thunder-looper, because it got bulldozed when I was born.

Gran Turismo

There was a lot of anger in the house. I attempted to do the Special Stage Route 11 endurance race in my fully tuned Supra RZ, but a crappy Celica GT Four kept overtaking me. Dunno why. I thought the main rivals would be the Impreza Rally Edition etc, but the Celica kept harassing me, and I had to quit. So I decided to go for the green FTO LM. I, of course, used the yellow Concept Car. Sadly, every time I reset, I got either a blue-striped Viper or a duplicate black FTO LM. So I sold my duplicate FTO and decided to use my other black FTO LM to do it. I got several blue-striped Vipers and of course, duplicate black FTO LM editions, until I got a Viper with green stripes. Maybe I’ll win the green FTO another day. Gran Turismo 2 also continued my anger - I could not get gold for one of the license tests. I want the Del Sol LM (in red, not black, I loathe the black one), the FTO LM (don’t care which color, like them both, but I’d like the green particulary), and the Toyota GT One’99. Them license tests are so hard! If only I could do something….

A Yellow Concept Car wins a black FTO LM!!

My yellow Concept Car (won thanks to a Cerbera LM that was won thanks to the NSX-R GT1 Turbo) has just won a black FTO LM, but not after resetting. Next stop is the green FTO LM (I love both black and green ones). I won two Vipers, then reset twice and got my black FTO. But the cheat North American yellow Concept Car was car of the day. I mean, it was so fast the Impreza Rally Edition didn’t stand a chance. Put a yellow cheat North American Concept Car up against a PAL Concept Car in purple and we know who will win (unless it’s going uphill, the PAL one can go uphill but the cheat Japanese/North American one can’t without losing speed.
Car used: Concept Car “LM” (yellow)

Prize Car: FTO LM Edition (black)

I DID IT!! I won the yellow Concept Car!!

I had to reset PSX Emulator a few times, but I finally won the yellow Concept Car. The yellow Copperhead in the Japanese version is the cheat North American one (which is good, the PAL one weighs 1000kg, but the Japanese/American one weighs 603kg, the same as the Cerbera LM (1329lb for North Americans). I reset it a few times, in this pattern:

Green RX-7

Purple Concept Car

Green RX-7

Purple Concept Car

Purple Concept Car

Yellow Concept Car

I finally have the best car in the game. Finally.

NSX-R GT1 Turbo wins UK vs Japan and a green Cerbera LM

I decided to buy the special model I’d never tried before, the NSX-R GT1 Turbo. As the NSX-R LM GT2 is in the American and European versions instead, I felt keen to try it out. I bought it (in red, of course) after winning several events in my Viper and my prize Supra, which I race modded (I’m going to use the Viper in the tuned series and Special Stage Route 11 endurance 2). I sold a Silvia Q’s 1800cc (crap) and two Soarers (one red, the other yellow), then did the first race of the normal cup a few times until I had 50,000,000 (the Japanese version’s money is in yen, of course) and bought the NSX-R GT1 Turbo. Boy, this car was pretty much same as the NSX-R LM GT2. It handled like a wet noodle, but netherless, it was rather fun to drive. I won the UK vs Japan championship, but it was a bit tough - I lost control several times. I already knew it handled like a wet noodle, though. But I still won UK vs Japan, and as expected, a (*sigh*) green Cerbera LM, which I’m currently racing in UK vs US. My pattern is:

Use the NSX to win the Cerbera LM (done)

Use the Cerebera to win the yellow Concept Car

Use the yellow Concept Car to win the FTO LM Edition

By the way, I also bought an EG Civic SiR-II in GT2 (the used car lots actually changed). At last.
